The Personal Chef is Back!
Teaching in a very personal way... In your home. I just began a 7 week series with the Millar family, teaching 16 year old Allison and 13 year old Sara the basics of cooking. These young ladies opted for a series of cooking classes rather than a traditional summer camp program and I have the honor of working with them for the seven weeks.
The girls put together a list of the things they would like to learn to make and I designed a series of classes around that list. We began with the very basics of knife skills and sanitation and are progressing through a well thought out list of items that have allowed me to build each week upon the recipies and techniques from the previous week.
Here it is week three and they have made fresh bread from scratch with my SEACMI recipe...(So easy anyone can make it...) Bread recipe. You will see that recipe posted in the next couple of weeks.
We have roasted a Chicken, marinated and grilled fresh fish and sauted a variety of green vegetables.
They can make their own lemonaid and have already made a strawberry shortcake and Apple-cherry Turnover... They are rockin it out.
